It was purchased for us as a gift in 2005. I have used it every day for the last 5 years and love it! So, when my Mom needed a new coffee maker, I bought her a Capresso since I'd had such good luck with it. She tells me every time I go to her house how much she loves her new coffee maker. I make one large mug (about a 1-1/3 cups water to 2 tablespoons coffee) and it brews quickly. Coffee is piping hot every time. I do not use a paper filter and you don't need to if you have your coffee ground for a percolator. I rarely get sediment and if it happens, I use a small sieve to filter the coffee. My only complaint (and it's minor) is that the screws on the bottom have already begun to rust. I clean the pot religiously and therefore, ...more
